As America's problem with obesity grows, eating healthy is the only option left. Eating healthy also means choosing between organic and non organic food.
Organic food includes plant products that are grown without using pesticides, and animal products obtained from animals that have not been treated with antibiotics. By eating organic food one is eating healthy.
According to Paul Beamer, horticulturist at The ISU Student Organic Farm in Iowa State, eating organic food not only means eating healthy it also ensures that no harmful residue is left from the food that is consumed and the soil is also free from pesticides and other harmful products used in non organic food. Eating organic food is not only about eating healthy it is also a concept about preserving our natural resources so that the future generation can get to use them.
